Naveed Kamal, a reporter of private TV channel on Tuesday injured when unknown armed men opened fire in Karachi.

According to details, the incident took place near Safari Park in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area when Naveed was going back to home after performing duty.

Witnesses said that unidentified armed pillion riders targeted Naveed and opened two fire on him.

'Assailants opened fire on Naveed but he escaped. However, he was badly hit by another bullet. He received one bullet on face,' said Saad, a friend of Naveed.

Naveed have been shifted to AKH (Agha Khan Hospital) for treatment.
