Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that the nation was fully capable to protect geo-political fronts of the country and any threat to its sovereignty would be averted with unity.The people of Pakistan will not be suppressed by any super power, she said and added that the contribution of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism must be acknowledged as well as its sacrifices.Talking to mediapersons here, the Information Minister said that Pakistan was rendering great scarifies in the fight war against terrorism, which should not be ignored.
She said that the current tendency was damaging the cause of terrorism but Pakistan would continue its efforts for rooting out the menace.
Dialogue is the best mode to find out ways and means for a solution of problem and it is the duty of allied countries to take notice of the current situation, she said.
She said that it was unjust to promote anti-Pakistan sentiments globally and it was better to take its military and civil leadership and institutions concerned into confidence. Pakistan was a peaceful country and was utilizing all channels and resources for the promotion of peace. All the allied countries should encourage the country for its role in the elimination of terrorism, Dr Firdous said.
She said that failures, mistakes and slackness must be owned before blaming Pakistan. The blame game against Pakistan would be detrimental and not in the interest of any country, she added.
Pakistan will highlight its concept and ideology before the world with full force, she added.
