The PML-N Tuesday announced to take part in the All Parties Conference (APC) convened by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on September 29.

Party's President Mian Nawaz Sharif will attend the conference which has been called by the prime minister to discuss national security in the wake of US accusations that Pakistan has links with the Haqqani network.

Addressing an informal consultative meeting of the party at his Raiwind residence here, Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan was passing through the history's worst crisis.

He said the US accusations that Pakistan army and the ISI were backing the Haqqani network and conducting proxy war in Afghanistan had perplexed the situation.

The PML-N chief said, "There should be no compromise over national integrity and independence". He categorically stated that nobody would be allowed to use Pakistan's territory. "Pakistan is a sovereign state and will remain independent," he added.
