A protest rally was held here Wednesday to express solidarity with Pakistan Army and condemn US for issuing threatening statements against Pakistan.

The rally organized by 'Wabastagan Sunder Sharif' (Multan road) was led by Sajada Nasheen Sunder Sharif Syed Muhammad Habib Irfani Chisti.

Starting from LDA complex, it terminated peacefully in front of Lahore Press Club. A large number of followers of Sunder Sharif participated in the rally. They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the US and in favour of Pakistan army.

Addressing the participants, Syed Habib Irfani strongly condemned US for threatening Pakistan and appreciated the strong stand taken by Pakistan against US.
