Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Thursday that All Parties Conference (APC) has created a unified national political response to address the challenges faced by the country.The Information Minister said in a statement that it was a matter of great satisfaction for the democratic government that all democratic and political forces have risen to the occasion and participated in this collective national exercise to find solutions to the country’s security.

She recalled that since 2008 the democratic government had set a unique tradition of consulting representatives of all political forces and taking them on board in safeguarding the national interests of Pakistan.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that all representative parties by participating in the APC had yet again demonstrated extra-ordinary maturity, wisdom and national solidarity.
She urged the media and the people to put their trust in their elected leaders and emphasized that it was the need of the hour that the media should act responsibly keeping in view the national interest of the country and refrain from hypothetical conjectures.
