Former Prime Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the provincial government is striving to overcome dengue fever adding that Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is taking keen interest in eradicating the epidemic.

He was talking to media persons at the house of deceased PML-N MPA Mumtaz Jajja here Tuesday. He said the loadshedding crisis was getting worse and it needed to be overcome on urgent basis.

Replying to a question he said the resolutions passed in All Parties Conference must be acted upon. To another question, Sharif said that Khalid Jajja, son of Mumtaz Jajja, would be the candidate of PML-N from his deceased father's constituency in next general elections.

Earlier, the PML-N chief condoled to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
