MQM and PPP to further strengthen their relationship

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will further strengthen their relationship in the interest of the province and its inhabitants, said Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, here on Wednesday night.
Expressing his satisfaction on MQM decision to rejoin the government, both at provincial and federal levels, he said this was prudent and in accordance to national need.
"Country is faced with serious challenges that demand unity among all political parties," he said.
The Sindh Chief Minister said relationship between the two parties had never been severed and MQM had all along been partners of the PPP.
"Despite their resignations from both federal and provincial cabinets they had stood by the government," said Qaim Ali Shah.
In particular context of Sindh, he said natural calamities as well as other emerging situation require both MQM and PPP to make their cooperation all the more evident.
"The two parties with heavy public mandate and also enjoying public confidence have to support each other for the sake of masses,"
he said.
The Chief Minister expressed his confidence that the two parties would face all challenges and succeed in providing the needed relief to the people.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the coalition partners would also win the next polls with much wider margin on basis of their service to the people.
