Power loadshedding ends: WAPDA

A Spokesman of Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) said on Thursday that power generation had been increased to end load shedding. Talking to APP, a Spokesman of WAPDA on Thursday said, the total demand of about 14,500 megawatt in the country is now being met. To a question, he said if oil and water supply remains at the present level, there will be no loadshedding in the coming days. However, the Spokesman said he could comment on loadshedding in Karachi since it had a separate system. WAPDA was supplying power to Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) as per agreement, he added.
