Twelve more people died of dengue fever, raising the death toll to 170 in Punjab on Friday.

According to media reports, Majid, 23, and Khalid, 30, died at the Mayo Hospital and Asher, 25, died at the CMH whereas two dengue patients succumbed to the fever at the Services Hospital.

Some nine people died of the virus in Lahore in the last 24 hours.
