Ex-naval chief nominated as NAB chairman
President Asif Ali Zardari has recommended Admiral Fasih Bukhari as Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to the Presidential SpokesmanFarhatullah Babar, President Zardari has written letters to the both Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the House, ask to their comments, a private news channel reported on Sunday.
Admiral Fasih Bukhari, is a retired four-star naval officer and the former Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) of the Pakistan Navy from 1997 to 1999.
He resigned as Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan Navy on October 6, 1999.
