Dengue-triggered deaths burgeoned to 187 in the metropolis, as another patient died on Tuesday leaving the high-ups shell-shocked with much to be desired.

According to a private news channel report, death caused by dengue virus soared to 205 in Punjab.

According to Punjab's Health Department, the patients affected with dengue virus exceeded 16,000 mark in the province; most of them, 15,000 belong to Lahore.
