Parliamentarians hail PM Gilani’s Balochistan visit

A number of parliamentarians called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here on Tuesday and appreciated his visit to Balochistan and described it highly successful.Those who called on the Prime Minister included Members of National Assembly (MNAs) Chaudhry Mehmood Bashir Virk, Azeem Daultana, Nabeel Ahmad Gabol, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, Begum Nasim Akhtar Chaudhry, Nawab Sher Waseer and others.The Prime Minister said that the development work carried out in Balochistan has no parallel in the country’s history, adding, the federal government has planned to give 20,000 jobs to Baloch youth which will improve the employment climate in the province.

Gilani said that he has announced an Information Technology University in Quetta at a cost of Rs. 650 million.
Talking to Azeem Daultana, the Prime Minister said that the grant of Rs. one billion has been approved in addition to the allocation made for Chishtian bridge.
The Prime Minister said that his recent visits to Balochistan and Azad Kashmir were extremely meaningful and will have long-term impact on the lives of people of these areas.
