Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad has said that ongoing cleanliness drive brought positive impact as overall sanitary condition has improved in the city.

He was talking to media persons at Clifton after visiting six towns of Karachi here on Friday. Provincial minister for Local bodies Agha Siraj Durrani, Administrator Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed and DCO Roshan Ali Shaikh were also present on the occasion.

To a question, the Governor said that the issue of local government elections would be resolved through consensus among all stake holders, however, the actual goal should be serving the people and the concerned departments and organizations are playing their role positively in this regard, he added.
