Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain on Saturday said that it was time that all the political and religious parties get united to defeat the conspiracies of the miscreants.

According to a statement issued by MQM here on Saturday, he said this in a telephonic conversation with Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik.

They also discussed overall political and law and order situation in the country.

Talking to Altaf Hussain, Rehman Malik said that the miscreants wanted to derail law and order situation in Karachi and Dera Ismail Khan.

Rehman Malik said that the government was taking steps for foiling the conspiracies, but it needs the support of all religious and political parties for the purpose.

Altaf Hussain appealed to the leaders of Peoples Party, Awami National Party, Jamaat-i-Islami, Muslim League and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam to take notice of the conspiracies to create a law and order situation in Dera Ismail Khan and Karachi.
