A youth shot dead his parents, four brothers and two sisters over a domestic dispute here in the small hours of Sunday.

The police said that the 20-year-old son Muhammad Afzal of Muhllah Kallarabadi intoxicated the family members and tied their hands and legs.

Then he gunned down his father Muhammad Asghar (50), mother Sajida (45), brothers- Iqbal (16), Sajid (14), Muzamal (12), Abid (10) and sisters- Sanam (5) and Anam (3) over some domestic issue.

According to Superintendent Police Mehmood Gillani, the children were aged between 3-18 years.

A case was registered against Afzal and the gun used by the murderer was also recovered by the police.

Police arrested the accused and started investigation.
