Ghinwa slams blatant US intervention in Balochistan

Chairperson Pakistan Peoples Party (SB) Ms. Ghinwa Bhutto heavily criticized the blatant US intervention in the internal affairs of Pakistan and slammed the Congress resolution on Balochistan.

“We are very unhappy with the way United States is dealing with the people of Pakistan, and with the people of our provinces. We do not like other countries to interfere in our internal affairs,” Ms. Ghinwa Bhutto said. She was speaking at a seminar organized by Pakistan Peoples Party (SB) to discuss Pakistan’s vote in support of UN Resolution on Syria. Students from Karachi University International Relations department participated in the seminar.

Ms. Ghinwa Bhutto termed Pakistan’s vote in support of UN resolution on Syria an attempt to ‘please’ the United States and other European countries.

While expressing her thoughts on the regional conflict, she termed the role of Saudi Arabia and Qatar ‘inappropriate’ and said that the two countries were competing with each other to be the ‘Munshi’ of United States in the region. Condemning the role of international media, she added that “Al Jazeera, CNN and BBC are all involved in attacking Syria. Journalists of New York Times, journalists of Al Jazeera, and journalists of all American pro-establishment newspapers, they are also soldiers, taking part in the war against Syria!”

While listening carefully to participants from Balochistan, she expressed hopes that Balochis will not consider America their friend. “The enemies should not be allowed to hijack movements,” she stated. Mr. Omar Sial, Deputy Secretary General of the party, presented a resolution at the end of the seminar, which stated that Pakistan had acted against its own interest by supporting the United Nation’s resolution on Syria. The resolution was passed unanimously by the audience.

The students who participated in the discussion include Ahsan Omar, Humna Mehwish, Farwa Batool, Ghulam Murtaza, Gulzar Hussain, Hammad Alam, Kanza Baig, Khizar e Azam, Muhammad Ali Hassan, Nabeel ur Rehman, Nida Tanweer, Rameez Ameer, Taimur Abdul Qadir, Umair Abbassi, Ali Asghar, Muzaffar and Sobia Shahid. The event concluded with distribution of certificates to participants.
