Warner's century helps Australia to 321-6 in final

David Warner scored his maiden century in limited-overs internationals as Australia set Sri Lanka an imposing target of 322 to win the first Tri-series final.

Warner smashed 163 from 157 deliveries, including 13 boundaries and two sixes, before he was bowled by Dammika Prasad on the last ball of the innings.

The 25-year-old lefthander shared a 136-run opening stand with Matthew Wade (64) and put on 50 for the second wicket with Shane Watson (21) to set up Australia's charge to 321-6 on Sunday.

Skipper Michael Clarke, who returned from injury and elected to bat after winning the toss, scored 37 from 25 balls in a 64-run sixth-wicket stand with Warner after dropping himself down the order to give the big hitters a chance in the batting power play.
