ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Friday directed the Ministry of Finance to release fund to Higher Education Commission with immediate effect.

The Prime Minister said the allocated funds to HEC must be released without any delay as it is a question of the future of thousands of students studying both at home and abroad.

The Prime Minister said he would not tolerate any delay in this regard. He telephoned Secretary Finance and directed him to immediately release the HEC funds. The Prime Minister said that no amount of complacency would be tolerated in this regard.
