ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday declared the appointment of Pakistan Television (PTV) Chairman Arshad Khan as illegal.
IHC’s Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani announced the decision pertaining to illegal appointments in the state-owned broadcaster.
Along with Arshad Khan, the court also declared illegal the appointment of the independent directors in the PTV Board of Directors.
However, the court termed legal the hiring of Chief News and Current Affairs, Katrina Hussain.
