Chairman China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority, Lieutenant General (Reid.) Asim Saleem Bajwa has relinquished from the position of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on information and broadcast, Aaj News reported.
Taking to twitter, Asim Bajwa shared that he requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to relinquish him from the additional portfolio of SAPM.
He added the PM has kindly approved his request.
“I requested the honorable Prime Minister to relinquish me from the additional portfolio of SAPM on Info & broadcasting. He very kindly approved my request,” he tweeted.
