A police constable and her brother were attacked by acid in Karachi’s Gulzar-e-Hijri on Friday.

They were attacked at Scheme 33, Sohrab Goth. PC Gul Zara is 22 years old, said police. Her brother Rizwan was dropping her to work on his motorcycle.

They were attacked as they approached Sohrab Goth. Their faces and other parts of their body were burnt and they were rushed to Civil Hospital’s burns ward.
