SKMH will be the biggest cancer hospital in Pakistan, vows Khan
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday revealed that the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMH) will be the biggest cancer hospital in Pakistan and equipped with the latest technology.
The premier shared his thoughts on Twitter while sharing that the construction work has started on the site of the hospital. In his tweet, Khan said:
"I have this great feeling watching construction start on SKMT Karachi. InshaAllah, it will be the biggest cancer hospital in Pakistan as well as being equipped with the latest machines."
The groundbreaking of SKMH Karachi was performed by Prime Minister Imran Khan in December 2016. This is a project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust (SKMT) that has established a number of hospitals, laboratories, and research centres for cancer all over Pakistan.
