An Afghan delegation led by Ustad Karim Khalili, chief of Hezb-e-Wahdat-e Islami, will arrive in Islamabad today [Monay] for a three-day visit to Pakistan, shared Foreign Office (FO) in a statement issued on Sunday.

According to the details, Ustad Karim Khalili will call on the Prime Minister and will meet the Speaker of the National Assembly, Foreign Minister, and other dignitaries during his three days visit.

The visit of Ustad Karim Khalili is part of Pakistan's ongoing policy to reach out to political leadership in Afghanistan to forge a common understanding of the Afghan peace process and deepen people-to-people linkages, the Foreign Office said in the statement.

Pakistan fully supports all efforts for peace, stability, and prosperity of the Afghan people. Pakistan remains steadfast in its support for an inclusive, broad-based, and comprehensive political solution to the conflict in Afghanistan through an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process," the spokesperson office shared in a press release.
