At least 530 dead so far in rain-related incidents in Pakistan: NDMA
Balochistan has reported the most death so far
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) says that the recent rains and floods have killed 530 people across the country.
The most rain and flooding related casualties have been reported in Balochistan with 164 deaths, followed by 117 deaths in Punjab, 116 deaths in Sindh and 100 deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There were also 604 injuries and loss of 24,900 cattle. 199 children are among the dead, according to the NDMA.
The number of people who sustained injuries due to the flooding and collapsed houses is said to be 604. Furthermore, 8,146 houses have been destroyed, and 32,561 houses have been damaged due to floods. 118 bridges have also been damaged.
