Social media fetes Aisha Malik's elevation to Supreme Court
Thursday's news of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan move to promote Justice Ayesha A Malik to the Supreme Court was met with much joy as she will become the first female judge of the apex court in the country’s history
Malik was lauded earlier this year for a historic judgment that banned the two-finger test and the hymen test calling them unconstitutional.
The JCP will meet on September 9 to make their decision.
