Pakistan recorded 72 deaths of Covid in the last 24 hours, according to the figures published by the National Command and Operation Centre on Monday.
In a message on Twitter, the NCOC said the coronavirus positivity rate was 6.8 per cent.
Out of the 53,644 tests conducted on Sunday, 3,669 people tested positive for the virus.
According to the government figures, so far at least 12 million people have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
