5.2 magnitude earthquake jolts parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Quake hit at a depth of 204 kilometres
PESHAWAR: Several cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were jolted by an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude on Tuesday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department. It struck at a depth of 204km.
No casualties have been reported so far.
Strong tremors were felt in Upper, Lower Dir, Mingora city and its environs in the Swat district. The epicentre was reported below the Hindu Kush mountain range.
In March too, an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude had jolted different parts of KP and Gilgit-Baltistan.
