Five Karachi tourists killed in Gilgit crash
Ten others shifted to nearby hospitals after sustaining injuries
At least five people, including a woman and a child, were killed and ten others were seriously injured in a car accident in the Rahimabad area of Gilgit, Aaj News reported on Wednesday.
All the tourists were from Karachi.
The accident took place near Rahimabad on the Karakoram Highway. The tourist’s vehicle lost control reportedly due to high speed and fell into a deep gorge.
Rescuers and local volunteers transported the bodies and injured to nearby hospitals.
