One dead in blast at police post in KP’s Chamtar
At least three more officers injured
At least one police constable was martyred while three policemen were injured on Thursday, when a remote-controlled bomb exploded at the gate of the Chamtar police post located on the Ring Road, in the jurisdiction of the Mardan Police Station in Khyber Paktunkhwa.
The constable who lost his life was identified as Maqsood and was 35 years old.
The injured policemen, as well as Maqsood’s body, were taken to Mardan Medical Complex.
Rescue 1122 ambulances and medical teams promptly reached the scene of the blast.
