Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed wishes for "speedy recovery" of US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump after both tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In a tweet posted from his account, Imran Khan wrote "Wishing President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump speedy recovery from COVID-19."

The American President posted earlier in the day on twitter that he and First Lady had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He had been in quarantine after Hope Hicks, a close aide who had flown with the President on Air Force One to Ohio, contracted the virus.
