Prime Minister returns from Turkish visit
During his Turkish visit, the Prime Minister attended the 8th trilateral summit on 'Sustainable Peace in the heart of Asia', mainly focusing the efforts to establish peace in
Afghanistan.
It was also attended by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
The Prime Minister had bilateral meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discussed the bilateral cooperation and regional matters.
He also met the Chairmen/CEOs of leading Turkish business groups in Istanbul and assured Government of Pakistan's full support and maximum facilitation for investment in Pakistan, urging them to become its development partner.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif, PM Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi, Head of Pakhtunkhwa Awami Milli Party
Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Chairman Board of Investment Miftah Ismail Ahmad.
