PTI urged to shun politics of violence

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali on Thursday urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)to shun  politics of violence and adopt constitutional procedure for resolution of various matters.

Addressing at a press conference here, the minister said that the government was ready for peaceful dialogue, however the PTI should have to shun vandalism and violence.

He said that Parliament was the appropriate forum for resolution of all issues and PTI should not indulge in such unconstitutional practice.

The minister said that there was no difference between PTI and terrorist organization, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as both attack peaceful people and cities.

He said that PTI Chief Imran Khan wanted anarchy and lawlessness in the country besides weakening the economy.

He said that plan C of PTI was a conspiracy to destroy peaceful atmosphere of Faisalabad and other cities.

Abid said that normal activities were going on in Faisalabad when PTI baton-wielding workers stormed into various markets and schools and started forcibly closing down markets and educational institutions.

He said that police deployed there was also unarmed but the PTI workers pelted them with stones.

He said that even the PTI workers did not allow ambulance carrying a patient to a hospital which resulting in death of the patient.

The minister lauded people of Faisalabad for rejecting PTI shutter down call.

He said that Imran Khan also wanted to sabotage Pak-China economic corridor.

He said that not a single case of corruption was surfaced against the incumbent government which was a matter of concern for PTI Chief.

Imran Khan removed his own health minister Shaukat Yousaf zai who had awarded contracts to an NGO of Jahangir Tareen, he said adding that PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudary was also a defaulter of Punjab Bank.

Replying to a question, the minister said that the Punjab government also announced cash award for providing information about the accused.
