PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in the ongoing search and strike operation though out the province against criminals and anti-social elements has rounded 199 suspects and recovered huge quantity of Arms and ammunition.

The police conducted operations in different parts of the province and recovered 47 arms and ammunition of different kind and 475 rounds of various bore.

During the operation 1082 houses and 265 hotels were checked and 15  cases were registered against the violators.

As many as 138 security points were checked during snap checking.

In all  33 illegal Afghan immigrants were detained on violation and 15 cases were registered against them.

Security inspections of 1319 educational institution were also carried out and various institutions were advised to further beef up security arrangements.
