لارڈز: انگلینڈ اور آئرلینڈ کے درمیان کھیلے جارہے واحد ٹیسٹ میچ میں انگلش ٹیم ٹاس جیت کر پہلے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوئے محض 85 رنز پر ڈھیر ہوگئی۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق لارڈز میں کھیلے جارہے ٹیسٹ میچ کا ٹاس انگلش کپتان جوئے روٹ نے جیتا اور پہلے خود بیٹنگ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔

انگلش ٹیم کی پہلی وکٹ 8 رنز جبکہ دوسری 36 رنز پر گری تاہم اس کے بعد وکٹوں کی لائن لگ گئی اور 43 رنز تک پہنچتے پہنچتے 7 کھلاڑی آؤٹ ہوگئے۔

اولے اسٹون کے 19 اور سیم کُرن کے 18 رنز کی بدولت انگلش ٹیم 85 رنز تک پہنچنے میں کامیاب ہوئی۔

آئرلینڈ کی جانب سے مُرتغ نے تباہ کن بولنگ کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے 5، اڈیر نے 3 اور رینکن نے 2 وکٹیں حاصل کیں۔

انگلینڈ کی جانب سے جونی بیرسٹو، معین علی اور کرس ووکس کھاتہ بھی نہ کھول سکے۔ اس کے علاوہ جوئے ڈینلی نے 23، برنس نے 6، روئے نے 5 براڈ نے 3 اور کپتان روٹ نے 2 رنز بنائے۔
