FAISALABAD: As many as 21 officials of patrolling police were dismissed from service while 13 others resigned from the department in 2014.

The offical sources said that show cause notices were issued to 1,100 policemen while services of 27 cops were confiscated besides stopping annual increment of 159 officials.

A patrolling police officer ASI Imran Shakir was killed in road accident while returning from his duty point at patrolling post Chak No 773-GB during last year.
