PML-N denies offering deputy PM slot to PTI

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Thursday categorically denied that it has not put forward any offer of deputy Prime Minister to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's chief, Imran Khan.
In a statement, the PML-N spokesman said that a central leader of the party senator, Chaudhry Jafar Iqbal had written a letter to Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif having various proposals to end current political uncertainty in the country.
He said that there was no proposal on card to make Imran Khan deputy Prime Minister.
The Spokesman said the purpose of making a deputy prime minister was that he would look into expected agreement between the government and PTI.
It was also suggested that the deputy Prime Minister would also monitor legal and constitutional affairs between the government and PTI.
